Paris Mouratoglou
Strategic Advisor

Mr. Mouratoglou is Chairman of EDF - Energies Nouvelles, which he founded in 1990 as SIIF. In 2004, State-owned Electricité de France (EDF) joined him as 50% partner. EDF – Energies Nouvelles develops, finances, builds, and operates power plants using renewable energies as raw materials. It operates more than 4,000 wind turbines and about 50 wind power plants in Europe and the US. EDF Energies Nouvelles also operates hydro power plants in France, Spain, and Bulgaria, and a biomass energy plant in Spain that converts agricultural byproducts into electricity. In addition, it finances, installs, and maintains solar water heaters manufactured by partner companies.

Mr. Mouratoglou also serves as Director of EURO SIIF, President of Apollon Solar, Chairman of the Board of Hotel Victoria SA and Managing Director of SIIF SARL. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique.
